World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated on 5 June every year. Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan graced an event to commemorate World Environment Day. On the occasion of World Environment Day 2021, the Queen also launched 4 significant National Actions for the environment. World Environment Day is observed all over the country by offices, schools, institutions, and the private sector. This year, the theme for the global World Environment Day is "Ecosystem Restoration".
