Princess Salma opened the Military Women's Training Center in Zarqa

In her first official event and represent for her father, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Princess Salma officially opened the new Military Women's Training Center in Zarqa, which was established in cooperation between the Jordanian Armed Forces and NATO. After graduating from high school, Princess Salma of Jordan joined the Jordanian Royal Air Force as a combat pilot and currently holds the rank of first lieutenant. Princess Salma is the first female jet pilot in the Jordanian Armed Forces.
