Perfectly said Tulipe33. The trouser suit is well-tailored: close-fitting without being too tight. I also like that her shoes are low-heeled, neither stilettos nor flats. Hair style flattering as well. Very tastefully done. S.M.

Je n'aime pas les rides autour de sa bouche. Voici une personne que son masque rajeunit, comme Camilla d'ailleurs.

Nasty comment. This is about clothes not physical attributes that can't be helped.

  3. Very nice that she chose an outfit not to compete with the artwork. Very talented youth and a very good cause

I don't know if it is only my screen, but I think jacket and pants have different colours, but not different enough to impress as a planned coordination. So I am not convinced. As far as the top is concerned, I would have chosen one either in a different colour instead of white-based and if patterned, than with a pattern that does not seem to be "cut off" by the jacket. Three pieces of clothes that do not build a unity.

  5. I like the printed tshirt under the suit, keeps the look modern. Well tailored. Good choice of neutral accessories. I think the block heels are a great choice here too, keeps up the modernity of the look.

She looks great. Infanta Elena would have done a good queen of Spain if the low was changed then . This is only what I think.

    1. Pues piensa usted erradamente. Elena no tiene ni el carácter ni la actitud, ni la aptitud para ser reina de nada. Y sólo de pensar en su hijo como heredero me caigo muerta.

Good queen based on what? I am not trying to be rude to you, just curious on fact based qualities that you think she possesses in order to be the queen. According to reputable court writers she could never excel academically, and her temper is rather mercurial , it has been reported that she often belittles her police detail, curses at them like a sailor and lacks patience and courtesy for those that work for the Royal family.

A very good outfit for her - a flattering colour choice and an excellent fit. She’s a very striking woman. (V.M.)

She looks much better than usual, the suit is classic and elegant, I particularly like the choice of shoes, and the top. Also her hair looks great, and that is a rare instance for her, as well as limiting the amount of trinkets that she generally wears on her wrists and neck neck.
    Nice outfit!

  10. Anon 20:59, you say according to court writers she could never excel academically, but she is a qualified teacher. But I am shocked by what you say her unpleasant personality. And I am also shocked that she always attend those brutal, gruesome bull fights. And she even dressed matador - ish, at Royal weddings, etc

Yes, she was able to get a teacher’s certificate, ( she is an infanta :-) and as such she can work on some private centers, but would never be able to pass the entry for public schools. I am not trying to be mean, it’s just a fact that she was not academically inclined. In regards to her temper and of course taking into account that sometimes rumors are just that, she seems to have a lot in common with her father, who was famously filmed years ago hitting his chauffeur in public, and yes she and both her children regularly attend bull fights, which many people in Spain find it appalling, and anecdotally Letizia refuses to go, just as appalling of the famous photograph of King Juan Carlos and the dead elephant that they killed on the safari, I just can’t even look at those pictures…..

What a thoroughly unpleasant and mean-spirited comment. I suppose you're a top model.

I can only agree with you.
I can see no gracefulness whatever nor class in her.
      Sorry.

  12. Maria M, thanks for correcting me on the teacher's certificate, concerning the infanta, and on the other issues. Even if it is so shocking!
