Crown Princess Victoria visited Gripsholm Castle and its gardens and Hjorthagen to receive information about the ongoing activities. Gripsholm Castle is in Mariefred, Södermanland. It is located by the lake Mälaren in the municipality of Strängnäs. Gripsholms Hjorthagen is a sixty hectare reserve with about a hundred fallow deer in unique oak pastures. The deer were moved here in the 1890s from Norra Djurgården in Stockholm. The Crown Princess wore a new floral print dress by Ralph Lauren.

Le style robe-chemisier convient toujours à Victoria mais là, c'est peut-être le fond bleu-marine qui ne fait pas très estival ; j'aurais bien vu une couleur plus vive !

I like this dress. Nice pattern, puffed sleeves, good colours. She kept it simple and created a summery look. And appropriate for the occasion.

ردحذفI think practicality won the day as far as shoes go, given that she anticipated walking her dog, as well as the terrain she's covering (open fields, stone pathways) where foot support is important ; so I'm fine with her choice despite the then longer look of the dress.

ردحذفI don´t mind the sport shoes, in fact I prefer this casual styling over floral dresses with high heels. But honestly, I tired of floral prints altogether.

حذفNice dress in a nice pattern ---no idea why, this past week, we have so may people concerned that dark colours are somehow non appropriate for summer. This one has a white print which makes it look both cool and summery in my book! However it's far too long and although trainers can look good with summer dresses, especially on the young, these are too clumpy ans don't improve the dress at all.
