Strandbakkehuset has been designed as the first newly built children and youth hospice in Denmark. Strandbakkehuset offers palliative care and treatment for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting illness as well as their families. Its purpose as a hospice is to embrace life for children and young people in a vulnerable situation. Crown Princess Mary wore a floral silk dress from H&M.

  1. Long dresses seem to be everywhere.

  3. Like the colours in this dress which suit Crown Princess Mary very well. As usual, not sure what the uneven hem adds to the overall look. Thanks goodness, she chose her regular shoes and not the ghastly sandals worn by the model!

  5. Victoria has that dress too. It doesn´t look good on either of them, unfortunately.
Difficult colours, uneven hem and a design that creates the image of a sagging bustline. The sleeves are way too long on Mary as well, hence the folded-up cuffs.
In order to end on a positive note, I´ll say that I like the neckline and the fact that the dress is properly lined.

      Great description!

    2. Agree, Vanessa. The dress itself is not bad, but the colour and cut do nothing for Mary.

    3. My first impression was that her bustline had been flattened. I'm not a fan of this dress either.

I agree with Debra, the dress makes Mary look curiously flat-chested, although I like the colors and pattern. S.M.

Do not like this dress, colors are odd, uneven hem, and messy top. Cali

  8. Crown Princess Mary definitely looks much better in this dress than the model. Her figure is just as fabulous now as it was when she and Frederick got married!

On the contrary, I am of the opinion that the model wears the dress in the way it was meant to, especially the fitted top part, which looks fantastic on the model. On Mary it is much too big and lose. I don't think we will see it again.

  9. Mary looks beautiful and elegant as always. I actually like the dress on Mary better than the model. Not a big fan of uneven hems but somehow it looks ok.

  10. The one I like is the white-haired lady with the black top and trousers and beautiful black and white coat and superb shoes!

Everything suits a beauty. However this is really not a favorite, but CP Mary wears it better than CP Victoria.

Mary looks elegant as always. The dress is pretty colours don't like uneven hemline. Not a fan of H&M generally clothes are cheap & tacky looking. You may on the odd occasion find something decent. On the flip side great to see royalty wearing high street fashion. Mary I
