  2. I love everything about her look, her hair looks really nice, the light pink or blush shoes are a wonderful compliment to the beautiful Valentino skirt which is the "piece de resistance". And lastly I love Mary, she is my idol. What a beauty and class act. I could just go on and on.....She and Frederick are the ultimate couple and look so good together!

Hi Fitzhugh so agree with you. Mary is my idol &, role model also. Love the whole package. Skirt, shoes, make up, hair etc. I love the white shirt looks so crisp. Mary I

  3. Very nice skirt, I would prefer it with a dark top, but anyway lovely

  4. Mary looks wonderful here! I love this Valentino skirt but wish she would pair it with a different blouse--the crisp white blouse seems a bit casual for the elegant skirt. A pale pink or dark maroon silk blouse maybe? No matter--she is looking fabulous!

I agree - a pink or dark maroon blouse to pick up one of the colours in the skirt would be better than the stark white. Otherwise Mary's outfit is lovely.

  5. Nice skirt and CP Mary never looks anything but smart and elegant, but not a great fan of the whole outfit. Perhaps, as Mary T says, it would be better with a dark top. Feel sorry for the lady in the black and white checked sack. Why would you wear that?

It is a phenomenon that occurs quite often, I noticed. When a female royal shows up, the ladies who are welcoming her, go out of their normal ways of dressing up, with horrible results most of the time; not only in the Netherlands, but also in Spain and in Denmark. Most women in Europe are not used anymore to “dressing for the occasion” or walking in heels or wearing a hat. So when they do, it looks awkward and sometimes downright ugly or rediculous.

    3. @lily: i frankly dont understand why you find ridicolous european women... Italian and french ladies teach fashion to the whole world... ;)

  6. Fantastic look. I think she does separate dressing so well. I like the white shirt with this printed skirt, a classic. Her hair always makes me envious, lol.

  9. Looks alright. Covering the coral waist with a much darker colour belt was a vast improvement. Mary styled the skirt well and looks a lot better in it than the model. The model´s accessories are terrible, shoes, jacket, purse - all of it.

Mary looks lovely! I love her skirt. However, I think that a black top would have looked better.

I like the colour of the skirt; not sure about the weird patterns on it, the belt looks good, the blouse looks great. Mary's hair looks lovely; well maintained. Not sure what Frederick is doing with his time? sailing.

    1. If you look to the website of the Danish RF you will see that Frederic has many activities as well, but LESS reported here, probably since there is less to comment on men's fashion. He is definitely more oriented towards sport etc, but I just read that he has resigned from his position at the Olympic international committee or so (not sure about the exact wording).

Blouse is nice, skirt not a fan, but she looks good in it and with the added belt, it helps. jj

  13. Fashion wise 100%, attendance 100%, but just a little too much perfection every time.
Screams look at me! Tiresome to see all the time.

I just wish she would be more normal since she really is a hardworking lady!
