Church service in connection with the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of military chaplaincy

On May 25, 2021, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark attended a church service at Holmen's Church in Copenhagen held in connection with the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of military chaplaincy in Denmark. Known in Danish as Feltpræsten (field priest), there are 95 Church of Denmark military chaplains serving in the Danish armed forces, ministering for all personnel regardless of their particular faith or lack of faith.

In addition, 20 chaplains are affiliated with the Home Guard. The Danish military chaplains also perform ceremonial tasks in connection with the repatriation of the fallen in international service.

I like how the bright red accessories lighten up her sober ensemble.

The words that come to my mind here are 'strikingly elegant'.
Queen Margarethe certainly cuts a pose here, not only by her attire, but in the colours of it and her seated poise. I love her hat. The shape makes a statement and the mixed textures of it are interesting. Nice!

Queen Margrethe has such a style; the colour suits her, she always seems to be such a cheery soul, which is good for the nation.

I am the dissenting voice about the outfit. The blouse underneath that is red, and the red scarf, make the entire neckline look very messy. Cannot think of a better word at the moment, espescially with her bag handle pulling on the neckline in the 3rd and 4th photo. clare
