It has been reported that this dress was last seen at the christening of Leonor!! ..and it still fits!! Color combination, hair, makeup and accessories perfect. Well done., A thoughtful representation of her daughter.

    1. Agreed that this is a perfect look. Just fantastic. And wow, if that is true about the christening. Also, her posture is just incredible.

Queen Letizia looks exceptionally stylish in this outfit.
The dress leaves nothing to the imagination of her excellent figure from head to toe - and a few stops in between.

  5. Honestly I don't like the handbag, might be better in reality than on a picture.

  6. Whatever she wears, she has this exquisite queenly posture, I admire that so much.
Great outfit too, elegant in it's simplicity.

Très chic! Love everything about this look: coat dress, shoes, hair, earrings, and of course Letizia's excellent figure and perfect posture. The fabric, styling, details of the dress are interesting and flattering, although the pin with the bow disappears against the light color/pattern of the fabric. While the handbag fits with the shoes, it's the one jarring note here. Holding it by the short handle looks awkward, I don't like the shoulder strap hanging down, and the top caves in as the bag itself is obviously nearly empty. Had the shoulder strap been removed and the bag stuffed with tissue paper to smooth out the leather, it might have been improved, but I think it may still prove too large to avoid calling unnecessary attention to it.

Also, while I love the outfit, another choice may have been better for a military engagement, especially as this is a solo engagement for Letizia without Felipe. It's maybe a bit too "sexy" with the back and front slits, the stiletto heels, and the up-do. Or maybe it's just the way Letizia wears it that makes it look sexy! S.M.

And she can only go sexy when her husband is there? Did you know that is the reason for a burka ?
Women can wear what they want, it is 2021, we do not need to ask for permission.

    2. Sexy? It is a dress with long sleeves, with a very long length and only has a small opening at the end. She makes it look sexy because she is sexy, but the dress is fully covered

I agree with Luisa here. She can wear what she wants to wear, without permission and without a man by her side. Suggesting otherwise is very archaic.

Handbags can be worn with both the shoulder strap and handles out. It is commonly done and has been done for several years. If this had been a more formal occasion, a different, smaller handbag would have been used. She on trend. ~d

    4. To Luisa's comment, we are all aware that women are treated in very different ways across the world. I am so pleased to live in a country where the situation of women has reached a certain ,or possibly good, level of equal conditions for men & women. And that we can leave aside considerations about burkas.

    5. She wore that dress at Princess Leonor's christening. No one said then that it was inappropriate for a religious ceremony.

For once, I donot like it at all what the Queen is wearing. It is the wrong colour and is also too tight, even on her perfect body!

  9. A perfect queen !! A wonderful idea to wear the christening gown of Princess Eleanor, because that way, she is also somehow present.
I love the posture of her, I love the elegance of her.

What a great coat/dress! It is so chic and classic, never goes out of style! The shoes and handbag are the perfect combination, especially the colors of the handbag. Bravo!

The beauty of investing in classic pieces. This coat dress could have been purchased today. Letizia looks beautiful. This dress coat will take on slightly different looks as the accessories are changed. Gorgeous shoes! ~d

Un vestido para siempre, nos gusta que estrene pero tiene muchos vestidos que solo ha puesto una vez. Bien por ella.

  14. Wow! She looks magnificent. The coat dress is very pretty and is a perfect fit, and the shoes and bag complement it nicely. I wish we had a closer look at her earrings. They appear to be studs but I can't tell the color of the gem.

They are diamond "buttons" that she wore a long time especially when she was a princess

She has perfected it this time. The shoes are a bit too pointy for my liking. Good to see her recycling clothes. Mary I
