Composed of 200 photographs of anonymous and renowned authors taken from the important collection of the AMC, the exhibition offers visitors a unique experience in an environment that honors the beauty and diversity of a lifeless nature, without humans or animals. The exhibition is organized by the Archive of Modern Conflict for MUDAM on the occasion of Rethinking Nature / Rethinking Landscape, the 8th edition of the European Month of Photography.

Yes! Jacket length and V-neck are very flattering, I even like the belt placement and muted color. It hides her problem areas and lengthens the torso. Hair is a beautiful warm color and has a healthy sheen. Everything else is fine, including the length of her slacks. The other lady's slacks are too short, what are called in German "Hochwasserhosen" or "flood pants". S.M.

  2. I really root for Stephanie and want to love her outfits, but this jacket just looks too boringly brown? grey? and bathrob-ish to me. The belt just isn't a good idea.

I like the colors of this outfit. I think if the jacket was a bit longer (mid thigh) or shorter (hitting the waist) it would look much better.

Or she could loose the belt and leave the jacket open.

Fully agree with you, the belt was not needed, it is not helping her silhouette. Big improvement with the trousers though. The hair is also neatly styled, simple but appropriate.

  6. Well, all you need to do is ask Google "ideas to dress with a fuller figure" or hire a stylist ... sometimes HGD Stรฉphanie is dressed and put together so nicely, then again ... but, she seems to be a lovely character and of course, that's what counts most ...

She looks, classic, and sleek. The outfit is appropriate for the occasion. It looks good as it is. Rather than hide her post pregnancy figure, she opts to not worry about it. I applaude her for not allowing the public to body shame, or try and 'cover up' what happens after a woman gives birth. Anne

    1. Agreed Anne. I think she's enjoying being a mum and fashion and body shape is of secondary importance. I wouldn't be suprised if she is still breast feeding.

Completely agree Anne. Just a shame that normal decency are a foreign word these days, and common courtesy and civility have largely been forgotten also of the followers of this blog. Is mind-boggling why we can't behave like adults. Be nice and stop trashing the ladies outfit and at least stop body shaming. Here Steph look well put together. Noting wrong with her outfit. The coat is high fashion. Who of us doesn't have a grey coat? Something we all use these days, and still nasty comments. I think it's the first time we have seen a royal lady in a grey coat and the comments have been ugly and boring colour. No comments need on that one...and the hinding behind comments like suits her body. Flattering to her body...com on. Give us a break. Sandy.

I agree that common courtesies are lacking in a big way, no matter which royal we are discussing. The issue with Stephanie, to me, is not her body but how she is dressing for official engagements. She does so few engagements, so it doesn't seem like it should be too difficult to have a core wardrobe of separates she can fall back on. Her position in the family dictates that her appearance rise to that level. I think it shows respect for her position. When they appear together, Guillaume is in a suit and Stephanie is dressed in nondescript clothes. In other words, it looks like Guillaume shows up and Stephanie tags along. Anyone that can't accept that Stephanie's body has changed because of pregnancy is a troll. What she does need to do is dress the body she has. She can wear anything she wants to wear when not in the public eye, but she has chosen this life and should look appropriate when on an official engagement. As I have said before, it is just as easy to buy unattractive clothes as it is to buy attractive clothes. They don't even have to cost a lot. They just need to look attractive and flattering. I can't see what is wrong with her buying and wearing clothes that flatter her body and the visitors of this blog taking notice of it. This is a fashion blog and we comment on fashion. The problem is the rude, disrespectful way some people make their comments. It is a simple fact that some styles and colors are better suited for each of us. Many of Stephanie's choices are not the best on her. Stephanie deserves to look her best, whether she knows how to do that or not. I would like to see her get some help with styling. I believe very strongly that she will know she looks good, which translates to feeling good about herself. She can have more than the joy of motherhood. ~d

    Well done, HGD Stephanie.

Interesting jacket, belt line above natural waist is good, and the colour is rich without being overwhelming. Sleek pony is a nice variation for her frizure.

  9. This is such an ugly and boring colour. And will she ever do other engagements than art expositions? As the future grand duchess she should show interest in all aspects of society.

This is so much better! The proportions are much more flattering for her body. This tunic length jacket disguises her hips in a way that shorter tops, sweaters, and jackets just can't. If it would have stayed closed without the belt, it would have looked better, but belting it where she did is the best place to belt it. It is most likely the smallest part of her body. I would like to see her pants shorter, like the length of pants on the woman she is with, and more interesting shoes. Her pants puddling on her shoes is not attractive. I am thrilled she is not wearing a scarf. It just doesn't work for me. I do really like the sleeve detail adding some interest. As for color, she could do better, but one step at a time. ~d

Not sure what one can say. I understand the idea of comfortable outfits, but a crinkled ill fitting jacket, in an uninspiring colour and a belt that makes it only look worse - that is just hard to imagine anyone could consider appropriate for a royal engagement. And the shoes, they just make it worse. It’s one thing to be uninterested in fashion, and a totally different one to look sloppy. I thought she might be heading in the right direction, turns out I was quite wrong.
