Princess Kako paid an online visit to the 53rd 'Naruhodo-Ten' exhibition at Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan. Japan Women Inventors Association (JWIA) sponsors the exhibition that features winners of an invention contest focused on daily life. These inventors are all housewives and many of them are above retirement age. The government has designated April 18 as Inventor's Day and each year the women's association holds an exhibition consisting of its members' latest creations.

In addition to that, The Imperial Household Agency announced that Princess Kako, the second daughter of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Japan, will be working as a part-time employee at the Japanese Federation of the Deaf (JFD) from May 6. JFD is a member organization in the World Federation of the Deaf.

    Adorable princesse Kako avec les cheveux lâchés mais tressés subtilement de chaque côté de la tête. Il me semble que c'est la première fois que je la vois ainsi ; quel teint de porcelaine - Cet ensemble de couleur vert d’eau lui va à ravir !

    She looks really lovely here. Finally she grew out the fringe and it makes a world of difference, she looks more mature, more polished and more confident. For the first time I notice her resemblance to her father, I always though she favours more her mother, but now she is a nice mix of both. It is great that the young princesses are getting more involved in royal work, soon it will be Princess Aiko's time to join in as well.

    Love the colour of her costume and as usual, the tailoring is perfection.
    Good luck to this young 27 year old princess with her new job.
    It's certainly for a good cause.

    Well, Kako looks lovely. Nice hairdo & beautiful color of her suit. Maybe next time the monitor will be a lot closer so she doesn't have to stretch to see what's going on ~Laurel~
