In Paris, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark received and gave an interview to the French magazine Point De Vue. The couple and their children have been living in Paris for a long time. The interview was about Prince Joachim’s accident, their life in Paris during the pandemic and their future plans. During the interview, the couple spoke about their children, their role as members of a reigning family and their love of Denmark.
During the summer of 2020, the youngest son of Queen Margrethe of Denmark, Prince Joachim, suffered a stroke, and afterwards, was immediately and successfully taken care of by the medical team at the Toulouse Hospital. In September 2020, the Prince started to work as the defense attaché at the Danish Embassy in Paris.

Je suis ravie de leur présence à Paris, cela pourrait leur permettre le moment venu de passer des vacances dans le Lot au château de Cayx dont la reine est propriétaire ; le prince Joachim a l'air en pleine forme ainsi que Marie qui est toujours aussi rayonnante ; trop mignons les enfants dont le petit prince qui plus tard, en fera certainement craquer plus d'une - Je garderais bien l'adorable peluche !

ردحذفI read in a previous interview they gave, soon after Joachim was out of hospital, that Marie loved Denmark and the life they had there. But, the move to Paris was not of their doing. Looking at these beautiful photos, it shows when an opportunity knocks, it can be beneficial to open the door ! They look happy and healthy and enjoying life in Marie’s home country.
