Brines is regarded as one of the most important poets of the 1950s generation of Spanish poets, along with Claudio Rodríguez, Jaime Gil de Biedma and Ángel González. The jury awarded the prize to Brines for "his poetic work that goes from the carnal and the purely human to the metaphysical, the spiritual, towards an aspiration of beauty and immortality"

  6. Unusual outfit for Queen Letizia. It's very orange (can see Queen Maxima wanting one of these!) but like virtually everything she wears, the Queen looks really elegant. Think I'd prefer a bag to match the shoes but it's a minor point. Like her hair like this for a change (and you can't see the grey streak)

    1. I admire Queen Letizia for going natural and find the sarcastic comment regarding her grey hair disrespectful.

This outfit is a rare miss for Letizia.
Even with her small frame all I could think of was a big old pumpkin.

How wonderful to see her in such a vibrant color. The eye is immediately drawn to the asymmetrical feature of the top and the openings at the hem of the pants. It is fitting that the accessories are mismatched to completed the theme. Hair and make up add a youthful air to the ensemble. Well done!
It is always a pleasure to watch her interact with the older generation. She is a tactile person and always seems to establish a rapport very quickly with their elderly guests.
Lovely view of Valencia in the background.

Queen Letizia, makes a Zara low cost outfit look like haute couture.. she looks fantastic, vibrant and so chic. I specially love the ballerina bun, she has the Audrey Herpburn aura about her .

  23. She is the most elegant royal, her posture is amazing and it shows off the labels she wears to perfection.
She could teach a lot of other royal women how walk and how to dress.
Ladies the secret is how they place there arms, watch and learn, such a simple thing, however makes a big difference, Princess Mary has it spot on.
Queen Letizia is epitome of class.
