On May 25, 2021, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Orbital Marine Power tidal energy turbine at the European Marine Energy Centre in Kirkwall, to learn about Orkney's push for carbon zero and hydrogen power. The Duke and Duchess also took a boat trip out to sea to visit the world's largest tidal energy turbine, the 2MW 'O2'.

ReplyDeleteThe Orkney's are great in the summer; a bit cool in the winter. Duchess Catherine and Prince William look so happy; great to see they support clean green energy, just like Prince Charles. Great to see all the happy smiling children.
