The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award was created in 2002 by the Swedish government to promote every child’s right to great stories.

Glad to see this sweet dress again.

CP Vic wore it on a video call recently, but no full length shots of the dress. At least we have the vendor/model photos.

I really like this fabric and the sleeves are unusual in a good way. Very cool, literally and figuratively.

Coulda woulda shoulda waited to comment after more photos got posted...

Even more fabulous once seen head to toe! Not cute at all, more like super cute. The shoes are to die for.

I'll add this ensemble to my CP Vic fave look book, for sure.

      OK, now I'm done.

    2. Agree as well, lovely dress, perhaps just a bit long. Far better with CP Victoria's scandals than with the white boots.

  3. C'est vraiment une jolie robe mais je trouve que le bas est un peu trop large pour la morphologie de Victoria ; superbe pochette dans le même métallisé que les sandales ; j'aime beaucoup !

  4. Looks alright in daylight, but I really don´t like the photos of it taken indoors. The shine makes the fabric look like satin and the dress nightgown-ish.
It´s not a bad dress, but I don´t think it suits Victoria well at all. She looks best in sharper designs. The iceblue colour is fab though.
The watch matches the metallic accessories but I have often thought that big watches like that are not ideal for ladies, and even less so for evening use.

I'm getting 1970's bridesmaid vibes from this dress. The satiny shiny fabric further adds to that image, as does the colour though I do like the colour in it's own right.

I am totally with you Anon 9:13, not my favourite piece of Victoria. The upper half of it (especially the first photo) also reminds me of a dress I had as a child in the 80's.... On the positive side, it's refreshing to see a plain colour, I have developed a flower print fatigue.... Other than that, not much I can say I like here.... sorry. Maybe it looked better in action, who knows

Agreed Mimi. Not one of my favourites on her by far. She has some much better dresses.

Puffed sleves always reming me of a young girl's dress for a birthday party.
As one of our fellow bloggers said the other day ...... "too much dress here".
By the way, where's Prince Daniel these days?

Sigh...I'm here with this gown. I waited, hoping it would grow on me, but I just don't care for it on her. I really prefer Victoria in sleek, minimalist clothes. I like the color and agree it is nice that she is not in another floral. It does remind me a little of 80s prom. Her watch is too everyday with this dress, and I think would have been better left at home. I do like her shoes, but think her clutch is very big and looks empty. If she needed something to hold her mask, a smaller clutch would have looked better. I know this is just me, but I really think she needs to clean up the hair on her neck, both the back and the sides. When wearing her hair up every day, I think she needs to pay more attention to that area. ~d

    5. Bridesmaid's vibes. That's why it looked familiar. Almost the exact colour of the dresses worn, at the end of the 70s, by my bridesmaids ;-)

  8. The dress is a pretty color but I don't care for the metallic sheen, nor do I like the ruffled bottom.

What a pretty dress, especially indoors. Victoria looks great in this design and the shoes are a great finishing touch. The big watch is tres chic anytime of the day or night.

She looks like a princess in the dress and shoes; Wait, she IS the Crown Princess. Seriously, this looks great outdoors, but a bit too shiny inside, maybe it's the lighting. She looks lovely no matter what she wears. cath
