Belgian Queen Mathilde attended the third and fourth sessions of the finals week of the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition on May 26 and 27. Every evening, from Monday 24 to Saturday 29 May, one of the six finalists will be performing with the Belgian National Orchestra, conducted by Hugh Wolff. They will perform a concerto of their own choice and the unpublished and compulsory work specially written for this year’s competition by Bruno Mantovani, "D'un jardin féérique".

  2. The purple dress looks nice, gorgeous rich, warm colour. But the green outfit is unflattering.

  3. Not keen on the dress. The print is too large. It might look better unbelted. In her next appearance, the color of the pants and top is very nice but the fringe is a bit off-putting. The length of the pants and the nude heels accentuate Queen Mahilde's long legs. All in all, I think the green outfit is successful.

  4. I like the purple print dress, would be curious to see the length on her though. I'm not settled on the green look. I like the overall color and the way the pants drape in a flattering way. However, the fringe does it no favors, especially at the midsection.
