All four look great. Letizia's dress is classic and chic. I love the snakeskin pumps & clutch and more modern earrings. I like the color coordination between Leonor, Sofia and Letizia. I find Leonor's dress to be a tad short but love her red flats. Sofia's dress looks comfortable and easy to wear. Like that we are starting to see the girl's personalities in their styling.

Queen Letizia looks amazing while the girls are dressing down. They don´t want to overshadow their mother.

Superb dress in a superb colour. Less is more. I always wonder why their 2 children have to be present at so many official occasions. Must be hard. The oldest is only 15 years old.
They look gorgeous by the way.

Because her dad Felipe used to do the same as same age. They are following him. It is the tradition in Spain, nothing new. Leonor turns 16 in October, if something would happen, she could be the Queen in two years. She must be trained.
Monarchy is a job for the whole life, since bith to death. They have been born as Royals, so they must act as Royals, not as "normal" tenagers.

Personally, I don't think they make many appearances - just for official occasions.

They all look basically above average and are always tastefully dressed. Very pretty daughters, no wonder with parents like that. Frieda

All three of them look great - and mum looks fantastic.
What I really like is how the red, grey, cream and black palette of colours is incorporated through their three outfits. Whether it was intentional or not, it's very effective and pleasing to the eye. Hair styles are also perfect on all three.

    1. Agree, Anon 9:13. What I particularly like, is that the girls dress age appropriate, and not overly mature, like the Dutch princesses often do.

I agree Rosalyn, they are dressed age appropriately though I suspect the Spanish princesses have more a more conservative parental influence on their grooming than the Dutch girls., who are perhaps more liberal in their style.
It will be interesting to see what all of them will choose to wear in two or three years once they have more control of their own style decisions.

    3. Thank you for your kind reply, Anon 9:13. You are probably right about the upbringing of the different princesses. And yes, I'm curious as well as to how they'll dress when they grow up!

Preciosas.

  12. Leonor´s outfit makes her look unnecessarily juvenile.

    3. I agree with you Vanessa. There is something about the way the are dressed that makes them look younger. Maybe it is that they are petite but I find their clothes often seem to big or loose on them. Short ankle boots rather than flats on their feet. They are such beautiful girls.

The shoes they are wearing are called "manoletinas" and worn by everyone, not only teenagers, even to work in Spain.
Ankle boots with a dress? I have never seen that in Spain.

Leonore and Sofia are so tall. Letizia wear high heels and her daughters are nearly as tall as her. It looks like Letizia is now the shortest in the family :)
All look lovely. Love the hairstyles. Love the outfits. Each individual but well matched.

  14. I absolutely love Infanta Sofia's dress. The print, color, gorgeous. Her shoes are cute too. Queen Letizia looks fantastic, I've always loved this dress, so classic and structured (and the one that looks similar but with the beautiful embroidery). I like her shoe choice here, adds interest. Oh, King Felipe in his military uniform, swoon. So handsome. Gorgeous photos all around.

@Vanessa, just she looks juvenile because she is.... as seen in the model this dress is not for babies, but for young women.

    1. You´re right of course, she IS young, but that outfit looks too young even for her - that´s what I was trying to say.
Leonor has grown a lot over the past year, and although she´s taller now, I still think she looks like a pre-teen in her outfit.

It must be in your country, in Spain teenagers dress like that, actually until 18 you need to wear a uniform to school, flats and socks. We we do not like that they dress as women yet
