  1. When Queen Maxima gets it right she blows everyone out of the water. Stunning look with a personality and intelligence to match.

    1. I fully agree, she knows how to score, when she takes the trouble to care for all details of her look. Just a point, bearing in mind the circumstances this is not a gala theater performance, or even a real performance, it is a visit, I understand. Isn't she a bit overdressed?

Perfectly said, MR. I fully agree.

    3. Agree 100%. Loved the dress before I spotted the red accessories 👠 then the last pic with the red coat. Just superb.

Maxima looks very good here. Her dress is flattering in color and style, and it fits. I like the red accessories to bring out the print in the dress. Her jewelry is the correct proportion this time. I have no complaints! Fantastic! She has been having more good days lately. ~d

I really like this style and hue of blue on Q Max, with the perfect shade of red shoes.

Oddly enough, though my fave colour is green (any and all shades, hues, tones, etc), I did not care for this same dress in green on W Mathilde as worn on March 18, but I can't even explain why.

Perhaps this dress simply looks best in the blue colour way.

    1. Hi Bepa, do you mean Qn Mathilde wore the same dress in green on 18 March 2021 ? I cannot find it on this blog.

    2. Well I liked it more on Queen Mathilde in green as on Queen Maxima in blue.

MaryT yes, it's on March 18, 2021 Q Mathilde's second outfit. I think Q Max and Q Mathilde went shopping together, so maybe they can switch dresses and we'll have more fashion to think about. Вера💚🦋

  5. I like her dress and the red shoes and bag, but I think the coat is a bit too much of a good thing. But overall, I think Queen Maxima looks very good today.

Well, the combination with the red shoes is a try but a total miss.
Let the blue dress speak for itself without the screaming accessories and it would be okay.
Now it is “ would- be” without being it!

Not really an appropriate outfit for the occasion. Slacks, blouse, sweater would have looked better. Hair, as always, a stringy mess. cal

    1. No, her hair is not a mess this time. Maybe you don't like the style, but her hair looks actually good here. I think she had her hair done - new colour, new highlights, new extensions?, the endings thinned out - I don't know how to call this technique in English, hair conditioned, washed, blow dried and styled. What else could we ask for?

I think we should get used to the fact, that this is the hairstyle she likes - the all american, californian beach blonde. Reminds me always of Jennifer Aiston's hairstyle https://www.madame.de/langhaarfrisuren-736270.html
The problem is that Maxima's hair is much thinner, and what people often don't know, this style needs a lot of care. It looks so casual, like I just came back from my morning swim, only ran my fingers trough my hair and now I am ready for a meeting with UN World leaders ;-) - this is not the case.

    2. I fully agree with Beth on most of her message. Her hair here is NOT a mess. It is modern styling carefully arranged.

The person is not as anonymous as it is signed "cal".
I agree with you, Cal. Her hairstyle is not flattering or healthy looking. While the navy blue dress is a good color for her, the style and busy pattern makes it a no for me.

  8. Queen Maxima looks lovely. Great dress, lovely accessories and hair nicely styled.

  9. Nice! Even her hair is much better now. The red accessories bring out the flowers on her dress, which is nice, but the coat (a different shade of red as well) is too much.

I agree with Beth, her hair is not a mess today.. hooray!!! I love the dress, and shoes, she looks exuberant without all the accessories that she loves to pile on. I would say that the outfit is a little too much for a morning act, but this is her, never subdued. I think this one is winner.

Definitely seems it's trendy to wear a coat as a cape. - As for technical issues; how does one get up in a decent fashion, when sitting on a seat way below the knee level and wearing very high heels? How do you push yourself up from there and land on your feet? *Blonde confused* - Ellie

Ellie, what’s confusing to you? I fail to see the difficulty about standing from these seats that seem standard to me... I am sure that you are joking, but continuing the myth that blond women are stupid is another way to perpetuate ridiculous concepts and frankly a little 18th century.

@C I would assume it is some sort of a joke that missed the mark. I wouldn't think that you need to have worn heels to figure out how to stand from a sitting position and "land on your feet", no matter the height of the chair. ~d

It was not a joke but a serious question. I do not understand how you can stand up on Eiffeltower-heels without pushing yourself up with your arms, as gravity does not allow for it. Perhaps they get up sideways somehow? - I did not say something was confusing me; I said I do not understand it as it cannot be. - C, thank you for your account for what you think. - Ellie

Its really good to see Maxima out and about.
I really like her dark blue dress. If its Natan, then its surprisingly lovely dress. Her hair need a good trim but this time her hair look less messy.

Well Ellie, of all things that are difficult to grasp, like space travel, molecular biology or the Bing Bang theory... you can’t understand how one gets up from a couch while wearing heels ...actually women have been doing it for many years, and no, your gravity explanation is factually wrong.
And also no, making blond jokes isn’t funny, but rather sexist and frankly way overused, specially from men as a way to diminish women . Break the cycle.

Ellie, nothing rude or disrespectful about my comment, is called humor with a little sarcasm! If you can’t take a little adult give and take, may I suggest that you don’t read blogs. So you think is all right to request that comments that are perfectly within acceptable parameters should be removed? What next?

Totally agree with CB , So you think that the moderator needs to remove comments that you don’t like? and although I agree that some sort of censorship should be applied when comments are profane, racist, discriminatory , libelous etc., I don’t see anything above that would warrant such censorship. If we were to erase everything that bothers us, I personally I would demand that your blonde comment be taken down immediately, as blonde woman that has had to endure these jokes my entire life, I find your “joke” insensitive and humorless, but I am not running around with my hair on fire, instead I am letting you .know my opinion on that respect.
    Have a good day.
