Due to the pandemic measures, Queen Sonja opened the exhibition digitally after she had left the museum and the other guests had arrived. Anna Ancher is one of the most popular Nordic artists of the period 1880–1920. The exhibition includes nearly 200 works, which makes it the largest ever solo exhibition of Ancher's art. The exhibition is being organized in collaboration with SMK and Art Museums of Skagen in Denmark.

  1. Beaucoup de classe chez la reine Sonja qui est toujours bien vĂȘtue et coiffĂ©e ; j’adore les perles de ses boucles d’oreilles et collier mais sa petite broche est-elle sertie de petits diamants ?!

  2. Queen Sonja looks incredebly good in the photo below. The best proof that black brings out the architecture of the face, i.e. the contours, depths and lightening, even in old age (wrong word, the queen is like Ringo Starr and my mother in law totally ageless).
Perhaps it is due to the wonderful pearls worn close to the neck, which provide the necessary brightening here.

I once saw Anne Ancher's paintings in Skagen and I can only say that I would have liked to have been there inconspicuously with the small group.

  3. Lovely outfit and some more black boots (and I am just wearing mine as well). This lovely jacket is also a re-wear.

  4. Queen Sonja is beautifully dressed at both events. I particularly like the last photo with the Queen smiling so sweetly. The Norwegian royals seem to be down to earth people, who genuinely love their country and its citizens.
