On March 10, 2021, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the non-profit association (asbl) BENU Village Esch in Esch-sur-Alzette, a player in the socio-ecological circular economy. The ecovillage is an upcycling initiative, which aims to use as few new resources as possible. It is also a place of participation and integration, and rents space to professionals and start-ups responding to common ecological and social values.

  2. I loved what I thought was a jacket and top in the first two photo's. Stunningly elegant. Then as the photo's went down in a row and the jacket became a coat I don't like it on her one bit. She is short and dumpy and that boxy coat makes her look enormous. For the rest her make up hair very large handbag etc. all look really super and the coat colour looks stunning on her.

  3. Nice visit. Back to fashion, I have the feeling she just had her hair cut (compared with 9/03/21). I preferred it longer.

Lovely, mellow yellow; just delightful! Would have been great to see what's underneath, but no dramas. - Ellie

It has been a long time since the Grand Duchess appeared in public in Luxembourg, here she's back at last ... in a pretty apricot coat.

The color of the coat is great; however, too long for her height.

The Valentino is ill fitting through the neckline and shoulders.

Her hair and makeup does look much better than a couple of days ago.

  7. I very much like the beautiful yellow coat however the Valentino jacket is far too boxy and would be improved by something visible underneath.

  8. The mustard yellow coat is very structured by use of what appears to be stiff fabric. It seems to bunch up uncomfortably when she bends her arms. The mysterious "flap" for lack of a better word, looks awkward, Likewise, I don't favor the black embroidered jacket either. On a positive note, her hair is styled attractively, and her makeup is more subdued than in previous posts.

  12. Yellow is a difficult enough color to wear, but this mustard yellow is indeed great for the Grand Duchess.
She can wear it and she's looking cool here in this arty surrounding.
On the last pic ( of the first event) we see her trousers.
My imression is, they are too long and too wide or big,
however, a 7/8 cigarette trouser would have been the point on the i, or the yellow of the egg (wrong picture, since I think, black pants quiet alright here).

  14. I love the style, and especially the neckline, of the coat with the matching flap underneath. I'd not call it mustard which I always think as more greeny--this is a nice spring coloured yellow. I totally agree with Nalerina and ck who think it far too long for the grand Duchess's petite frame, especially with the trousers and almost flat shoes. Don't like the Valentino jacket at all--I don't think it flatters her at all.

I thought we were seeing the first really nice outfit in quite a while. The lovely yellow tone coat and dress looked so pulled together. Then I saw the full outfit. Oh dear! What is that? A properly fitting dress would have been so nice. What she is wearing has no shape and is too long. The trousers then accentuate a squat body. I like her handbag very much.

The Valentino coat is a bit much. I am not a fan of the embroidery and I think it is too heavy coat for an indoor meeting. ~d

The colour of the coat and dress(?) is lovely, but the cut is not good for such a short woman.
The combination with the black trousers and flat shoes make it even worse.
Seems to me she chooses too big clothes.

The color of yellow is lovely, however, I felt like she was going to take flight and fly away with the huge lapels, plus the length for a short person was not good. The coat wore her, not she wearing the coat. The black jacket thing looked odd. Annie

  18. The apricot/yellowish coat is gorgeous on her. I also think she looks fantastic with the short haircut, it suits her face. However, I am not a fan of that dark Valentino jacket, just looks matronly and ill fitting. But bravo on the 1st outfit!
