Stichting De Buitenboordmotor is a foundation which has developed a system that simplifies the cross-sectoral transition from job to job. The foundation provides guidance to jobseekers when they switch to a different sector than in which they previously worked.

  1. Unless I am totally wrong, I think temperatures are pretty low in NL as well. So I won't be long I am cold just by seeing her.

We do have central heating and pretty good isolation in the Netherlands. I wear t-shirt inside all the time, otherwise I get uncomfortably hot thanks to the occasional hot flashes.

When you are thus dressed inside ( or in a T- shirt) it means your central heating is on a too high temperature I would think!

Yes, it's -25°C here right now - daytime high!! - last day of our week-long cold snap. Looking at Máxima's bare arms is what really makes me feel cold. I never understood that dress she's wearing. ~Laurel~

Bickering about whether or not a person should be wearing sleeves indoors is getting very petty. We all have different comfort levels, and we all have a right to be comfortable. The fabric is heavy, making it more than suitable for this time of year. She shouldn't have to put on a sweater or jacket to cover her arms to make imaginary feelings of chill subside. If you can make yourself cold just by looking at her, think of a tropical place and warm yourself up. If you think being warm enough inside to wear a t-shirt means your HVAC is set too high, I would suggest you look into insulating your home. Maybe you are losing your heat. Maxima looks fine, except for the usual earring and hair issues, both of which aren't worth my time.

Inappropriate outfit for the winter weather. Hair a total icky mess of stringy stuff and over-the-top ugly earrings. Ugly bureau and knick knacks on it, as well as the always present huge fresh arrangement of expensive flowers, and several paintings on the wall.

The only thing ugly here is your attitude.

@Anonymous 6.38. I find it extremely strange that not liking an outfit or having a different taste is considered to be wrong attitude. Okay, Anonymous 1.39 put it a bit bluntly, but I understand the meaning of this blunt message: it is always the same in the hair and fashion department and to be honest, I find her room also very oldfashioned and frumpy.......

@6:38pm - I wouldn't necessarily say it's 1:39pm's "attitude"; it's her observations & likes-vs-dislikes. We all see things differently, good or bad. Aimed at a receptive person, constructive criticism can be helpful. It's not all sunshine & apple blossoms. ~Laurel~

In the Netherlands flowers are not that expansive, most people have fresh flowers in their livingroom. This room is not a privat room but a formal room in their palace with 2 century old furniture and very beautiful paintings.

It is exceptionally cold in NL.
I am beginning to think that she dresses totally out of context most of the times on purpose...... to get even more attention and to show us that she is above the ways of the normal world....

  4. Love the dress. So happy to see toned down jewelry. But I do wish I could take some scissors to the bottom of her hair and just chop off several inches. Other than the hair, a nice look.

  5. I think Maxima's appearance in this meeting is better than in her most recent ones. Admittedly, her hair is not usually her best feature. But wearing a sleeveless dress is probably indicative of living in a warm dwelling. Obviously, if she were outside, the dress would be inappropriate without a coat. The earrings are hardly noticeable, but I like the shape and color.

  6. Well, I can't help but really like her outfit and actually her hair.
It looks cool and elegant, casually elegant. And Maxima can wear these sleeveless dresses so admirably well because her arms are slim and trained.
Maybe some just can't get used to the way she looks because she is a feminine queen and a very attractive, physically and bodily attractive queen, if you know what I mean. Some people want royals like colorfully wrapped Easter eggs or figures from a hollow early evening show, but I find these rather boring.
