She looks lovely in that color. Anyone else notice the purse? Love that even for a zoom she put together her outfit the way she would face to face- hair done, dress, brooch, pearls (earrings & necklace), pumps & purse. She is such a professional and classy lady. Well done your Majesty!

Pure Queen Elisabeth vintage, she never disappoints. I made a comment about Eugenie’s hair on a different thread, and somebody suggested that I should lighten up, well here is the perfect example , there are COVID restrictions, and some people are hesitant to get their hair cut, but if you want to look presentable, no need to be fancy... there are ways, just look at her Majesty.

It's not the same, the Queen has a down-scaled number of employees, who are in quarantine with her, and I imagine one of them does her hair. That is not the case for Eugenie.

Eugenie's hair could have been due to her pregnancy. Some pregnant women don't feel comfortable getting their hair dyed because of the chemicals. I liked Eugenie's lighter tips. It looked like balayage whether it was intentional our not.

Queen looks fabulous. I can only hope to have a fraction of her energy and drive when I'm her age.

As to pregnant women hair, there are some bío- dying products which do not contain the most dangerous chemicals.
Anyway, one can choose not to dye their hair at all.

Really love this colour on the Queen. It's fabulous. And perfect accessories as well.
And apart from that, massive respect and admiration for her given whatever else she must have on her mind, including Philip being in hospital and all that.
    Long live her majesty.

That's a great shade of pink on her!! Wow.

Sitting there in front of that monitor on a "zoom call" as it were, I can't help but think about all the technology that she has seen come and go. When all this began she was heard over the radio and that was the "state of art" tech at the time. :-) Long live the Queen!

Anonymous @18:48, yes and I am sure that Eugenie is cooking her own meals, vacuuming her house and scrubbing her own toilets. You don’t think she has domestic personnel?
They all have staff that either stay on the premises and/or get tested on regular basis.
And I am not talking about her hair being in poor condition due to pregnancy, my point was that her coloring was atrocious and a simple ponytail would have been a solution.
    Once again, nothing personal.

Eugenie lives in Ivy Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace and doesn't have access to the Queen's staff. Whether she and her husband have staff that they pay for privately I don't know, but it's unlikely to be more than a house keeper (possibly part time). It's a small two-bedroom cottage, they certainly don't have staff living there and it also doesn't afford a lot of space for staff in general. Nor does Eugenie have nearly as much money as William & Kate for instance.

The Queen is better dressed for a zoom call than most of the younger royals we have seen. A solid color that brightens the face is the best it can get. She isn't wearing any distracting accessories so the focus will stay on the topic of the discussion. ~d

Something reassuring about seeing and hearing HM. What a difficult week it must have been for her, with her beloved Philip in hospital ! Yet here she is, looking spectacular in that shade of pink ! Ana

Anonymous @19:23.... really!!! She still has the ability to comb her hair herself, just like any other able woman... it’s ridiculous that you keep defending her hairstyle like if this was a personal attack, it is not, just a simple observation on a fashion thread.
Her hair was terrible on a picture for the ages, it is not the end of the world, just my opinion... I think she is a fine woman, and she has improved her style immensely over the years.

Anonymous 19:23, I have a hard time understanding your rationale about Eugenie not having as much money as William & Kate, since when one has to be a millionaire in order to present oneself properly groomed? I also find her hair pretty bad on her Instagram picture, that being said everybody is entitled to a bad hair day, and some of us just recognizing for what it is. I understand if you would say that you do like it and find it pretty, and in that we differ.

  17. One thing that might interest. The Queen was wearing her engagement brooch in this video. It is not often worn nowadays but it feels significant that is on her dress whilst her husband is in hospital.
