  1. A bit too summer outfit IMV, and shoes not adapted to winter conditions.

    King: Handsome, dressed well
Queen: Lovely face mask, glad to see the double masking she did. Not sure about the suit, it seems to emphasize the addition of a little weight, but then we all have added a bit of weight, or 99% of us have over the last year. Colors of the suit are beautiful, as is the scarf and mask. Like the color of shoes, hope she had snow boots to slip into outside.

    1. Yes, forced to stay indoors with the lockdown is causing a little weight problem for a lot of us.
Kilos aside, I think the pant suit fit in well with the occasion. Low key and sober. Although, I'm not a fan of the colour.
For King Philippe, looks like the double breasted suit style of Prince Daniel of Sweden has given inspiration to him.

  3. Not a success. Jacket is too short and trousers a poor fit.

Two masks now. When is this madness going to stop?

Two masks, a medical mask and a cloth mask, are recommended because of the UK and South African variants of COVID.

    3. It's not madness but fashion. The second mask matches the dress, that's all

  5. I like it overall. I like the soft color and the pop of print. I think the jacket is nice, I happen to like the shorter cut. I do wish the trousers would have been tailored better, to give a more generous, looser fit that would have been more flattering.

  8. It's often said that trouser suits are not the most flattering outfit for Queen Mathilde but I like this with the perfectly matched blouse and mask and the gorgeous shoes. I imagine a path will be cleared for them to enter the hospital so she'll not need to suffer in boots like the rest of us!

Annie M - I do not suffer in boots, I find boots very comfortable & I enjoy walking in the snow. Yes, maybe no red carpet but certainly some snow-shoveling will happen for Mathilde. ~Laurel~
