On February 25, 2021, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the opening of the new building of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Helga de Alvear Foundation in Caceres. The new building has an area of 5,000 square meters in addition to the existing 3,000 and also has a garden area.

50 percent of the construction work was financed jointly by the Junta de Extremadura and the German gallery owner Helga de Alvear, who has donated her entire collection to the museum.

The museum will be a benchmark for contemporary art. It will house the 3,000 works that make up the collection. The construction is the Spanish candidate in the "Mies Van de Rohe 2021" European Architecture Awards.

    Superb!

This dress is a masterclass in fit, proportion, well placed lines and details (belt line and pockets).

Understated yet magnetic style. Beautifully curated ensemble, absolutely perfect for this engagement.

Q Leti stands out in the crowd, definitely a persona who wears her clothes. The clothes don't wear her, as can happen in the world of royal fashion (unkind to name names;).

No wonder I'm inspired by Q Leti and often refer to her in my own styling. Brava!

Over the years, we have seen this dress in Paris, New Orleans, Valencia with different accessories, and each time it has fit perfectly, a hallmark of Varela.
When the Queen pulls out the Pradas and the close to the body silhouettes, she means business!,... striding confidently over the cobble stones in those heels. The dress offers a promise of Spring and makes her stand out in the crowd as stated above. Not a covid kilo on this woman! I bow?

Always so well dressed, less is more. Elegant. I sometimes wonder if royals receive clothes to promote a brand. E.g. Letizia has a lot of Hugo Boss and Spanish brands like Massimo Duti. I cannot imagine that they buy all these clothes. They need a big building to store them.

  10. In addition to all of the complimentary comments about the Queen's appearance (with which I wholeheartedly agree), let's not overlook the King, who is impeccably dressed and seems to become more handsome every time I see him. The Spanish king and queen may be the best matched and best looking royals I've had the pleasure to see. The Bhutan royal couple are very good looking too.

White/cream always look good together, and that slim belt accentuate her slim waist. Simple, classic, and elegant look.
    King Felipe looks so handsome.
