The Princess read aloud The Picture Book of the Year "Coco can do it", written and illustrated by Loes Riphagen to 25 children who were present in the studio via a live connection. The book is about the baby bird Coco who finds it very exciting to spread his wings for the first time. The book has been chosen as The Picture Book of the Year by a committee of Dutch librarians.

Wow, Laurentien did an excellent job of reading a cute story to the children, very expressive. Nice tempered outfit compared to a lot of hers, maybe a bit much for this occasion; and it's too tight across the bust. ~Laurel~

I think she is a lovely lady although I think her outfit should have been a little less fussy. I do think the painted on eyebrows need to be softer. They really are quite hard!

  4. She looks lovely in red, great look. Maybe a bit overdressed, but I'm kind of for it. I am usually against not putting arms in the sleeves, but here it works, gives off a teacher/grandma/caregiver vibe, which is perfect for the reading.

  5. Laurentien porte ce rouge avec élégance mais je ne suis pas fan des chaussures ; je préfère largement l'ensemble imprimé plus décontracté de la personne face à elle !

  6. A lovely cheerful outfit which I think is just perfect for the bright setting. The children would have seen her as a true princess.
