Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, twins of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, celebrate their 10th birthday today, on January 8, 2021. On the occasion of the birthday, new photos of the Prince and Princess were released by the Danish Royal Court. In addition, royal monograms were created for the Prince and Princess.
The monograms were designed by graphic designer Charlotte Søeborg Ohlsen with specialized assistance from graphic designer Mads Quistgaard and graphic designer Cecilie Kirkeskov Knudsen.
There is a long tradition of royal monograms in Denmark. The monogram is a mark of identity which can have both a functional and a decorative use. The monarch’s monogram is official while monograms for the other members of the Royal House are private in character. It can be used on objects, gifts, letter-writing paper, jewellery and many other things.
All siblings look like their mother somehow.

ردحذفLovely pictures of the twins. They seem very happy and have a close bond with each other. Love the clothes, which are smart and modern but not too formal. Josephine is very much her mum, in Vincient I think he resembles his Dad but also see some of his Uncle John when he was around the same age. Wishing them a Happy Birthday.

حذفFunny, I actually think the opposite, to me Vincent looks a copy of CP Mary and Josephine is becoming more and more like Q Margrethe, like her sister Isabella. Vincent is just gorgeous, for me THE most beautiful of all the royal children hands down. They both seem lovely, fun and happy. Happy Birthday to both of them! It is incredible that they will soon be teenagers indeed... where has the time gone??!

The other thing that I meant to say in my post above but forgot to, and which I find very endearing and touching, is how publicly affectionate they all are with each other, and with their parents.
ردحذفApart from the obvious emotional bonds between these two lovely twins, we've seen many occasions when any combination of the four of them play together, tease each other physically, and affectionately hug one another. Even Prince Christian is not beyond putting his arms around his mothers shoulders or Vincents, and Princess Isabella guiding Princess Josephine by the hand. There are plenty of photos and videos showing this interaction.
For me this is rather special, and a fine example to see them publicly interactive in a positive way. It also signals good guidance from their parents.
