Queen Mathilde visited Sans Souci Psychiatric Hospital in Jette

Queen Mathilde of Belgium paid a visit to the psychiatric hospital Sans Souci in Jette. There, the Queen attended a Christmas concert given by the musicians of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel to the patients and the hospital staff. The concert is part of the "Sharing Christmas On Tour" project which includes a series of concerts that the Music Chapel will perform in the courtyard or the garden of various medical and social institutions.

Jette is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. Inaugurated on 12 July 1939, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel provides high-level training to exceptional young talents both from Belgium and abroad.

  1. The queen's coat is very nice, and her red accessories, including boots, add a bright splash of color. I also like the double-breasted coat of the woman standing beside her.

I wish we could get an unobstructed front view of the coat (it’s hard to tell much from the shorter, unbuttoned version on the model), but from what can be seen it appears to be tailored very attractively. I like the length of this coat paired with those beautiful boots. As always, Mathilde puts together a very coordinated look.

    Queen mathilde is the cherry on the cake or should I say, the Christmas tree :-)).
