With a video message, The Duchess of Cambridge thanked everybody who submitted a photograph to the National Portrait Gallery’s 'Hold Still 2020' project. The project was launched by The Duchess of Cambridge in May, in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery. 'Hold Still' project invited people of the UK to submit a photograph that they had taken during lockdown.

  2. I admire her passion for photography and how she uses it to add value.

The jacket is amazing, looks like her Alexander Queen one she wore a few weeks back.

Her hair is volume goals, i know its always been gorgeous but seems like she has extensions perhaps

I think she has no extensions, just her natural hair.

  5. Like both cardigan and blazer but looking at both photos I think blue is definitely more her colour. In reply to Anon 4:22, I would suggest it is good genes. If you look at photos of her mother, now in her mid sixties , she still has an enviable figure. Pippa is also very slim

    1. Kate, Pippa and their mother are very slim. They have very good genes. But I think that Pippa is shorter that Duchess.

    2. The Duchess's mother had to keep a slim figure as she worked in the airline industry ........ cabin hostess, I believe.
If I could get my figure looking like Duchess Kate, I'd be happy to take no matter what sort of compliment or critic came my way :-))

  6. Beautiful hair. Great makeup. Amazing colors. She is always properly and appropriately dressed. Does anyone know if she has a fashion consultant or everything is her own choice? It's amazing how she grew into her role - by which I don't mean just fashion, but overall - the approach to duties. I have seen a similar development with Sophie Wessex or Mary from Denmark

    2. I agree, she has really turned herself into a very dignified, regal representative of the monarchy. It must have been a lot of hard work and it must take a lot of discipline. She's very, very good at what she does, even if she has help and money at her disposal, it's still hard work to stay "in character" most of the time. At the same time, it looks rather effortless and she continues to come across as very friendly and not aloof. I hope William worships the ground she walks on etc.

  8. I realize Catherine LOVES to wear her hair long; however, this would have been a proper time for an updo to show off the beautiful collar on that sweater. ~Laurel~

Both colours look so nice on her, but the red jacket is amazing.
    Her hair are simply fabulous.
I agree that she has grown so well into her role.

  10. She's so beautiful most people probably don't even notice her eyebrows, but in my opinion her eyebrows are a bit heavy in these photos.

  11. These are both beautiful colours for P. Catherine, and they complement her lighter hair colour too. (V. M.)

  12. She looks lovely in both- great hair. I think the lighting washes her and her red out a bit- it was a deeper red when worn before. The lighting with the blue is perfect. Big kudos to her for highlighting this idea and supporting it. What a great idea to focus, encourage, and document this very unusual time. Truly a very royal initiative. Well done!

    1. Maybe she's got good technical people looking after that side of the interview.
Generally, I find the full frontal facial image/s on videos doesn't do anybody any favours. Sometime it looks like an image for a police line up.
But yes Szilvia, Duchess Kate come out well on webcam presentations.

  15. Except for the shoulder section of the red blazer, I think Catherine looks wonderful in all the photos. I particularly like the blue cardigan.
