Princess Anne visited CambCol laboratories in Littleport. CambCol is a pharmaceuticals company that has diversified its production to produce hand sanitiser in the wake of the pandemic. The Princess received information from staff and apprentices about the work of the company, which has created more than 30 new jobs since the start of the year. After the start of the pandemic, the company repurposed its machines to produce hand sanitiser. After the tour of the premises, The Princess officially opened the building by unveiling a plaque.

Very nice outfit, wouldnt call it a costume. She looks lovely and her smile shines thru the mask. Well done Princess Anne!

@6:42pm - Could be a translation issue or a comment by a person not 100% familiar with English. Yes, we do usually say "outfit" (ensemble?).

I totally LOVE Anne's entire outfit: the fit & pattern/material of the jacket, the length of the skirt, and the boots. Always like to see Anne in action. She is a youthful, slim, active, 70-year-old. Go Anne!

Thank you, indeed I did not know the word, but I looked it up: suit?

    3. My late father and his sisters always referred to a skirt suit as a 'costume'---a habit that drove teenage me insane!

She picked a heck of a time and place to remove her mask to chat with people. She is certainly hard working and I really like her outfit. Her figure is enviable. The shoulder bag is so practical and I wish we would see an end to daytime clutches.

Princess Anne looks very stylish; and she dresses for the weather. The bucket shoulder bag is very practical. I like the pearl earrings. She is so practical, no nonsense with her.

Love her tartan. I feel the cut is a bit overwhelming though. Perhaps a shorter jacket for this dress/skirt (looks like a dress around the collar) or a narrower dress/skirt with this jacket. I am so curious given her habit of wearing outfits from decades ago if this is something she’s had from the 80’s (hello shoulder pads)or 90’s (hunter green, navy, burgundy palette).

This is a great look for P. Anne. I love the colours, the silhouette, and her choice of handbag and boots. (V.M.)

  10. Always good to see the Princess Royal, especially her enthusiastic smile as in the first photo. great that people like the outfit, as I am almost certain , given the style, that it is a repurposed one form decades ago. I will resist the temptation to go and look through old books and magazines to find out if this is correct.
