Queen Rania of Jordan held a virtual meeting with owners of small income-generating projects to receive information about how their projects were affected by the pandemic. At the virtual meeting, possible ways to help alleviate the impact of the pandemic on their businesses were discussed. During the meeting, The Queen announced an increase in financial assistance to 100 income-generating projects across Jordan, which aims to expand their impact in local communities.
The small income-generating projects receiving support will be identified by the Community Centers Association (CCA) following a detailed assessment. These projects will be offered one-time grants in order to support them and to alleviate the economic impact of the pandemic on their owners. Queen Rania wore a crepe-de-chine tie-detail shirt from Jason Wu.
