  1. Lovely dress, donot like the boots in combination with the delicate tissue.
There is a lot of work to do, for me, alas, to regain the lost respect.

    1. Agree re the boots but I like the slightly hippy vibe of the dress. I think that there is alot less jewellery on display these days and it makes her look more elegant. I bet everyone was thinking “don’t mention holidays or Greece!”

    3. You do not have to do any work in this respect (no pun intended)..... it is for them to (re)gain this.

    4. The Queen is looking a bit tired. In photos N° 6 and N° 7 she is propping herself up against the wall. A sign of fatigue.
Maybe the drama of the holiday is taking a bit of a toll on her.
Hang in there dear Queen Maxima.
I'm cheering for you and maybe one day you'll be perfect like us (:-)).

  2. The print and fabric of this "Altuzarra" dress are really beautiful, but I am fed up with those hemlines. Anyway: I like the dress.
The Queen must be very self confident to make visits with that style of hair. Maybe a´n "updo" would look more elegant? Or a little pillbox hat?

  3. Belle robe aux pans asymétriques. Parfait avec ces superbes bottes assorties à une pochette ; j'aime moins la grosse ceinture !

  4. This is what you end up with when you have pieces of different material that aaaalmost match and you want to make a dress. ~Laurel~

  5. So , this Altuzarra is just an OK dress , and being that it's a rather expensive brand it could just be mistaken for any dress found at a department store. It definitely looks much better on the model, but Maxima always add something unexpected, it just doesn't work for me, the boots, nice as they are don't work with the delicate fabric, and the belt is too chunky and sporty. The not great hair doesn't help either.
All in all is not terrible but blah and discolored.

  6. I would have preferred a different color shoe or boot, pulling out the dark color in the dress like the model did. I wish she would stop throwing belts on everything. Especially the thick belts she is so fond of. The belts do not produce the desired effect she is going for, they do just the opposite.

  7. The boots are dated, the dress a no, the hair a no, at least she is not wearing the huge hats or jewelry. The mask is off, on, off so much what was the point?

  8. Hair looks very unhealthy, just bad. Like always.

  9. And then after you've worn it a couple of times, you could make a nice festive tablecloth out of it for Christmas.

      You said it!
      A very expensive tablecloth!

  10. I don't care for the dress, it is too busy for me, too much going on with the mismatched prints and the asymmetrical hemline. I do love the boots (just not with this dress), they are gorgeous.

  11. Dress okay, but boots and belt don't go in my opinion with this dress. Please Máxima cut your hair in a nice Bob and stop this bleaching. You would look so much younger and elegant. Whatever beautiful dress bad hairstyle destroys the overall look

  12. Lovely dress , nice prints and colors . The boots are not a good choice with this chiffon fabric dress. The makeup is fine and the less jewelries is the best .

  13. Uneven hems are a no for me, flimsy dress and boots a no.
