  1. Ah, Albert and his “mini me”! They both look good in their casual outfits. (V.M.)

  3. These kids are just adorbs!
I really love how they are so visible to the public (thanks to their parents) and are being involved in everyday public events that are within their scope of interest and understanding. So important to a childs social and personal development.
Also love seeing that like millions of kids around the world, they are becoming accustomed to wearing masks in public along with everyone else. Bravo!

  6. It is heartwarming to see Albert as a modern, hands-on father. It is quite a difference from his upbringing. I get such a kick out of little boys wanting to dress like daddy. Adorable!

  7. Kids are adorable, not starting a riot, but I am not fond of how Jacques is always front and center and Gabrielle is brought along as an after thought. I know he is destined to rule Monaco, but this bugs me.

    1. Agree the little Princess should be raised equally.
Both children would be thankful for that, it would be a reason to love parents just more.

    3. Well, they have different destinies and both need to understand they are going to play different roles. I don't think Gabriella is brought along as an afterthought but she isn't going to be the Sovereign.

Much is made of how Princess Caroline has supposedly struggled to cede the spotlight to Charlene. A school of thought has that part of Prince Harry's struggle to "find his place" was because he was treated "equally". I think both children are loved equally and are no more important in the heart of their family but I do think their parents are gently training them for the inevitably different roles the will have.

Personally, I think Gabriella should have been the heir as she is older ... but hereditary royalty is an inherently unfair system anyway.
