  1. I like the volume but I feel that the silhouette would have made more of an impact if her skirt sat lower on her torso. With how high it is sitting it is almost an empire waist. I think empire waists are typically best on children or pregnant women.

  2. Beautiful black&white outfit. Works both for day/business purposes and as a cocktail outfit for evening functions, and the event they attended seems to have been a bit of both, so: well done.

  3. Not sure about this outfit at all. The dress looks fine in the photos that you see taken front on but in the first couple of photos it looks like a school uniform blouse and skirt. Bag and shoes are superb

Love this chic black and white look. The fit is a little off for me. It looks a little big on top. Love the matching clutch and heels.
Letizia’s mask looks very big to me. In a couple of photos it looks like it ends right below her eyes. A fabric mask or one with adjustable ear straps may fit her better.

    1. Fabric masks are forbiden in many hospitals in Spain, it is not fashion if not health. They have found that they do not work.

Disposable masks tend to fit me right under the eye but I wedge my glasses on top so they don't steam up!

Unknown - who has found out that cloth masks don't work? They work fine if they are worn properly and washed at the proper temperature after wearing. But I can understand that hospitals would prefer not run the risk that the wearer hasn't done that.

    3. Anon 9:40...there are many articles in the Spanish media, they need a filter, only cloth is not enough.

  5. The black and white tone shoes are fabulous, love them. The blouse is pretty not so keen on the skirt.

  7. Belle harmonie du corsage blanc et de la jupe noire que je trouve ceinturée trop haut ; pochette des mêmes couleurs que ses superbes escarpins !

I like this outfit. The blouse fits beautifully and pairs very well with the skirt, even though both have some volume, because of that amazing wide waistband that defines her shape. The 6th picture shows just how well the blouse fits because we can only see the blouse. She is also in a good bra. If she had been in ill-fitting undergarments, without the uplift, this outfit would have looked terrible. I think the skirt could have been a few inches longer, but it does not ruin the look for me at this length. Great accessories, keeping it it simple.

  9. She owns this separates since at least 2015, lately she repeats things she has for many years.

  10. Although I think she looks lovely I don't really like the puffy blouse and skirt combination. Perhaps because I too feel like the skirt is a bit too short with that blouse and those high stiletto heeled shoes. She looks to me like an African wader bird on the mud flats in picyure 4. When the miniskirt first made its appearance in another life the adage was "The higher the hem the lower the heel" We wore those thigh high creations with flattish clunky heels. I still think that is a better combination than short skirts and high heels, that or a closer fitting blouse with that wide puffy skirt which as individual items are very nice but just not together.

  11. Love the skirt, the volume is great. However, with the volume, I feel the top needs to be more fitted. With both pieces ballooning, especially in the 1st picture, it is not flattering. Just looks like 2 fabric bubbles. Love the black and white though, and the shoes are fantastic.

  12. For me, this is a rare miss for Letizia; the top and the skirt are interesting and pretty separately, but together they give off a "little girl" vibe. Their rather pouffy silhouettes, and the skirt hitting just above the knee, combine awkwardly, imo. Fabulous shoes, though!
