Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain. The visit was organized by the Société des Amis du Musée du Luxembourg (Society of the Friends of the Luxembourg Museum). The Hereditary Grand Duchess visited the exhibitions “They Might Stay the Night” by artist Sophie Jung and “Die Zeit ist ein gieriger Hund” by artist Germaine Hoffmann.

Germaine Hoffmann was born in 1930 in Ospern, and lives and works in Luxembourg. Sophie Jung was born in 1982 in Luxembourg, and lives and works in Basel and London. The meeting at Casino Luxembourg of two artists and two exhibitions - that of Germaine Hoffmann on the ground floor and that of Sophie Jung upstairs - makes it possible to discover the common artistic influences and affinities which bind the two women from different generations.

That´s a good look on her. Finally smaller trousers. I wish I could have a closer look on the shoes. Good haircut and an easy styling.

    Happy day!

HGD Stephanie exudes confidence, calm and style. It's wonderful to see her engaged and immersed in the world of art.

Some day, I hope she visits Wisconsin again, this time with her super cute baby.

  7. Stephanie seems to dress entirely the way I do - no fuss, no drama, let's throw on something vaguely suitable and nothing that could attract people's looks. That's no criticism of her - just another way of dealing with fashion. There are the playful ones in tune with fashion (Diana), the stylish and elegant ones (Katherine) and those who may have a trememdous aesthetic sense in some area but can't translate it into everyday clothing choices. I love her percisely because she so doesn't fit the mould of elegant princessy attire.

  8. Lo siento, pero esa chaquetita de punto es para estar cómoda y abrigada en casa. Y además, remangada. Muy pobretona. No creo que vaya bien vestida. El pelo, precioso.

  9. Nice hair and lovely colour of jacket. Looks much better than in recent formal outfits.

I have a similar cardigan and I also wear it with black tapered pants and ankle boots - for shopping, to the park, for informal encounters. But I wear something more chic to visit galleries, theaters, exhibitions.
I know she has a small child, but thousands of women have a family, and - unlike Princess Stephanie - we don't have a housekeeper or staff to care about household. We go to work every day but we can look more stylish. She has enough options, enough money, she can hire a stylist to advise her. She should realize that she represents her country and put more effort into her outfits,
The lady in the red skirt looks better. On the other side -Stephanie has beautifully combed hair.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that Stephanie and Gillaume still only go to exhibitions and galleries. I don't remember seeing them at any charity event.
By the way, my name is Stephanie too.

I have mixed feelings here. On one hand, I like the colors she is wearing. The raspberry color around her face is very flattering. The opening of her cardigan creates a center-line than gives a slimming allusion, much like Camilla does with her fashion. Black is a good choice for her pants as it is visually slimming as well. On the other hand, this chunky sweater is very casual and lacking real style. From what I can see, her top doesn't look like it is anything more than a glorified t-shirt. A nice silk-like simple print blouse with the raspberry in the print would have elevated this entire look. The pants are the wrong cut and too long. Since her hips are wider right now, I think the pants should have been a wider leg to disguise her hips, and the length should not be puddling up on her boots. This comes across as a little sloppy and new mommy. If I had to guess, I would think that she is more hands on than some new royal moms and we know that clothes have never been a priority to her. She may not want to invest much in a wardrobe while she is transitioning post pregnancy, so she is choosing pieces to do double duty. Practicality may be her main priority. Good job on the colors, meh on the outfit.

Outfit is okay. The sweater is a pretty color. I love her hair. The cut and color is such an improvement. Her old shade was too ashy and washed her out making her look older. Beautiful, bouncy blowout.

The red skirt is fantastic. Does anyone know who the woman wearing it is?

  14. This is an absolute no for me, the cardigan is something that I normally would wear to go to the park, or keep it around the office to keep warm , not elegant not suited for the occasion. The pants need to be tailored at the hem. Although the hair is well tended is definitely aging for such young woman.
