  1. Beautiful look for Mary. I like the little sparkle at the neckline.

    1. I agree. The neckline adds colour that is well matched with these trousers for an appropriate outfit for a daytime meeting in this setting. The cut of the sleeves and the high waist - wide legs are totally on trend. I believe an all black/tight faux leather skirt would have been a poor choice in this setting and for this occasion. Her hair adds corporate style to the look, as do the earrings.

    2. I agree about the collar and I love the contrast of the top and pants. On the fence about her hair being pulled back. It does give a very corporate/business look but I just am feeling a softer sweep around the face with such a high collar.
Minor quibble, maybe slight tailoring issue on the pants (would it be on the waistline?) to reduce front wrinkling.

  2. From muy point of view it is not a good match. I like much more the one that wears the model with the black skirt.

    2. I agree with you. I don't like the two pieces together either, and I love the skirt. I know the slit is too high for her, but it does make a much nicer match with the blouse.

  3. Nice and simple, but the trousers ask for a belt.

    4. She is wearing a belt the same color as her slacks. It is difficult to see.

  4. Mary has the most beautiful body of all the ladies. She has very feminine curves and her posture is perfect. That's why almost all the clothes looks so good on her. And I like her style choices as well. - Siri

  6. First of all, let me say that Mary looks nice in this outfit. I like the top and the embellished collar. However I am not a fan of high waisted trousers,. I would have liked them to have been a little lower. When they are a lighter colour than the top, and the top is tucked into the trousers, it gives it a bit of an odd look to me. Perhaps it's just me, and I'm ok with that. But Mary is so slim and trim that it looks fine on her.

  7. Like the top a lot and the sleek hair. Would prefer darker trousers with a slightly lower waistline. Something about the way they sit looks a bit off to me.

  8. I am not fond of this look. The pants are too light, too casual, for a good companion for the dressy dark blouse. This many not be the prevailing view, however, my opinion is that it just doesnt look well together.

  9. Great outfit! It’s polished, professional and the collar is a fun detail. My only quibble is her pants could be a touch longer.

  10. I think CPM looks gorgeous as always, I'm biased though as I'm Australian and feel such an affinity with Mary and her style. She really does always look wonderful and appropriate. I like her hair this way too.

  11. This is a fabulous outfit, CP Mary looks stunning.

  12. Oh I love high waisted trousers, I was wearing them when I was young. They flatter the female body because they accentuate the waist (instead of a position which is not really rewarding - it is just "not-waist" and tends to be awkward for all women who have a little fat deposit where the trousers sit).

That thin belt would have been better in black.

  13. The pants are too tight in the wrong places.

  14. Seriously? Commenting on her looks and fashion is everything all you people had to say? No one is curious what she (or the Danish crown) had to say on this occasion?

And to the author of this article: what point are you trying to make by jumbling together "suffering from conflicts, disasters and the impact of climate change" and "Crown Princess Mary wore a new crystal-collar crepe top from Red Valentino"?

Enjoy your La La Land as long as it lasts. You make me sick.

    1. As far as I understand this blog is about fashion worn by royals. This is what is commented on here. If blogs like this one should not exist, it would be because the royal ladies would not care so much about their own appearance, showing off and wearing all the ridiculously expensive new stuff that an average person can not afford. Maybe you should address this to the royals themselves.

    2. Go away and be sick then.

When you've recovered enough you could wake up to the fact that:

      This is a FASHION blog.

      Paragraphs - no jumbled information.

Then get over yourself and go spew your sanctimonious judgemental thoughts elsewhere.

    3. Why would you come to a fashion blog and be surprised to find comments about fashion. With all that is going on around the world, a fun, lighthearted topic/outlet for people is very helpful for avoiding being sick. What a ridiculous creature you must be if this makes you “sick”, there are so many more pressing things in this world to be “sick” over, perhaps you could focus your energies there to help with your “sickness”. There are plenty of places to clearly read about the Royals’ causes. As long as people are wearing clothes there will be opinions about fashion so it will last.
Reminds me of Casablanca’s Renault, “ I am shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!”
