    2. She is different and she is my favourite "fun" Princess.

  3. My first reaction to that dress was to pull back. Do not like it at all and think it is most unfortunate that she chose it for an official portrait.

Beverly24, I agree. I thought the first photo was quite nice, then I got a knee-jerk reaction to the bold design of the skirt. Seems a bit stark compared to the royal photos we usually see. Am so far unable to find this photo showing her legs. ~Laurel~

Ha, ich denke, dass sie immer beschaeftigt ist.
Leider ist ihr Kleid nicht toll meiner Meinung nach.

Honestly, I like Laurentien a lot, but I do not like her dress and her sense of style in general.
It does not look the best choice for an official portrait( IMO).

    1. I agree totally. I also do not understand her chewed end's hair style at all. Her hair is so nice and thick surely a hairdresser can come up with something better than a platinum bleached beehive style thatched hut.

    2. Agree. Ugly dress.

  8. Toujours aussi charmante Laurentien ; cette robe originale moderne aux jolies couleurs convient bien à sa silhouette. Qui pourrait dire le nom du créateur de cette toilette ? Par avance, merci !

She has got a good strong face, but her choice of clothes is often horrible.
This one is ok for a day at home, but not for an “ official portrait”: never heard of an official portrait except for the King and Queen.

She works for the Royal Family - presumably they update the photos for all the official websites and documents from time to time.

Plenty of royals apart from kings and queens have official portraits.

    Yes, you guessed right!
Your comment is funny but true.
I would like to see her with different clothes and hair styles too.

  11. Generally really like Laurentien, who always seems cheerful and interested when she is on official duties. Her dress sense is unusual, to put it mildly, and while I am not crazy about this outfit, I have seen her wear worse. I disagree with the comments on her hair--I think it looks smart and flatters her face shape.

I think she looks great. The dress is pretty low key for Laurentien. I like the contrast of the plain navy against the bold stripe.

I think her hair is a very flattering style - the only thing I would say is perhaps try slightly softer colours.
