The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Medical Detection Dogs training center in Milton Keynes. The center trains dogs for the detection of the odour of human disease in order to carry out a faster, more efficient and less invasive diagnostics process. Trials still continue at the center to determine whether trained dogs can act as a diagnostic tool of COVID-19.

That new project is a collaboration between the charity, Durham University and The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. At the center, The Duchess met with the personnel and watched Labradors Marley and Bea sniff out COVID-19 samples. It is expected that COVID-19 detecting dogs could begin their duty at airports by Christmas. The Duchess of Cornwall is Patron of Medical Detection Dogs.

  1. Much better than other outfits.
    I like her bag.

  2. The tan shoes are back. I don't think this is the Duchess's best fitting dress, although the style is similar to many others. Something about the way it hangs. I like the bag but think it clashes with the shoes. She certainly looks like she's loving this visit.

I appreciate the effort of trying to be 'safe', but she is far from safe with a face shield that is worn too far back on the head, leaving her mouth exposed and providing no protection.

I agree with some of the comments above. I was dismayed to see the shoes. I really dislike the color of them. I think her dresses are so similar in style because she has them made by the same person(s). I would love to see what another designer would come up with.

I also agree that she is not being safe. She should stick to a face mask. The face shield is not covering her face properly. Medical professionals would never substitute a face shield for a mask, they wear them together for added protection.
