On September 23, 2020, the Swedish Royal Family, that is, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria (via video call) and Princess Sofia attended Global Child Forum Partner Advisory Board Meeting at the Stockholm Royal Palace. The Global Child Forum’s partners get together once a year for a half-day meeting to discuss the challenges encountered by children all over the world and the role that may be played by the business world in addressing these challenges.
At that meeting, thought leaders and influencers from business, civil society, academia and government gather in order to spur action for social change around children’s rights. This year, the meeting focused on how Global Child Forum can increase it’s relevancy to the business world. The Global Child Forum is a Swedish non-profit foundation with headquarters in Stockholm. King Carl Gustaf is Honorary President of Global Child Forum. Princess Sofia wore a new multi-coloured zigzag pattern top from By Malina.

DeleteSofia is a lovely woman and has made good fashion choices lately which fit her personality and are appropriate for the occasion. It has been several weeks since we have seen her open smile and I do believe she may be wearing dental braces. Many women her age for whatever reason, aesthetic or medical, do put them on. By not having an open smile many are interpreting her as being sad.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. And I haven’t thought of this. Well done with a plausible reason. She is not sad. Her body language doesn’t give that indication. Just not smiling all the way. Nothing wrong with that. But braces can be almost invisible and might cause her to smile differently. Janine
DeleteI had thought the same thing about the braces the last time we saw her. Most adults in the US wear Invisalign, which are clear and almost undetectable. You can speak and smile just as you always did. She may be wearing traditional braces or other orthodontic treatment.
DeleteI love this outfit, I hope to see Sofia in this top again soon, wonder if she has the skirt as well. The multi-color chevrons are pleasing to the eye, nice design and colors. And... it does look comfortable and warm when needed. ~Laurel~
