I'm not sure she's actually doing so well. I think she's putting on a brave face. There was a literary event she attended in Frankfurt she attended last year, she looked well in the pictures but in actuality was too unwell to do her speech and Haakon did it for her.
And I think that's something everyone should consider when judging her outfits - that she's a very sick person trying to do her job.

Good to see how relaxed this royal couple is.
    Welldressed for the informal event.

  3. Sur les premières photos, nous voyons Mette-Marit avec une sorte de robe-chasuble ; elle est nettement mieux avec sa veste mi-longue joliment ceinturée !

  4. I think I can safely say that I don't like MM's look on the first pictures, even for an informal event.

  5. Absolutely love the jacket, blouse and trousers Mette-Marit is wearing for the visit with students and educators; imo it is one of the most becoming outfits, casual or otherwise, that I have seen on her. The cut and proportion of the pieces are perfect, and what she has done with the lapels (hmm, deliberate or happy accident?), revealing that striking pop of pretty blue, amps up the attractiveness. I think she should tack down that one lapel permanently, and always wear a blouse in a gorgeous color underneath :-D.

I wish I could find something to like about the horizontally-striped knit top worn with the sleeveless coatdress (?), but nope.

She looks well, lovely smile. The only quibble would be the long sleeveless jacket she had on in one of the first photo's. Just did not like the look. The shorter jacket looks great!

She looks great. I don't hate her first outfit. My biggest problem is with her shoe choice. They do not go with the rest of the pieces out all. Her bag is a great color and the coat is a nice cut but just needs to be shorter. In her second outfit, the leopard flats add some fun to a classic look. They are one of my favorite royal couples. You can tell they enjoy spending time with each other and always seem engage when they meet with people.

  8. Nice look in the second set of photos--the striped sweater with the sleeveless coat is not a great look, in my opinion, though it may well be trendy. Mette-Marit looks well and happy in these photos which is the main thing of course and the Crown Prince is as handsome as ever.

  9. It is great to see CP M-M looking so happy and relaxed. She looks fabulous in her ensemble. How lovely to see the children looking so excited, with huge smiles and waving there flags.
