The royal family of Norway ended the 2020 summer holiday with a glorious and eventful week in Lofoten with the Royal Ship. The royal family shared a series of photos from their 2020 summer holiday. Lofoten is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland. Due to the warm Gulf Stream, Lofoten has a much milder climate than other parts of the world at the same latitude.
King Harald and Queen Sonja had invited both the Crown Prince's family and Princess Märtha Louise and the children to a large family holiday at the end of the summer. The royal family visited Lofoten islands in Nordland with the Royal Ship. There were several stops along the way, including a summit trip to Dronningvarden and a beach break at Svellingene.
Both the King and Queen have used the Royal Ship along the Norwegian coast this summer, in addition to spending time on Mågerø outside Tønsberg. The Crown Prince's family has spent the summer in Sørlandet.
Fabulous family bond. And the queen seems incredibly fit.

Queen Sonja is just amazing and beautiful. She was 83 years old in July, and she looks many yeas younger !!!

Oh, this is such a treat, to see a royal queen, in hiking gear! What an awesome lady! I miss Martha-Louise's friend, are they waiting until they can make the friendship official? Why is king Harald dressed so formally?
