Something amiss with Charles' jacket I'm afraid (and with someone else's hair, well...) ! Camilla is one of the only royals who can don these big hats really well.

    1. about Charles' jacket, probably the weight of his numerous medals... on probably rather light material.

    1. Agreed, perfect.
The tailoring done with the coat is impressive.
She wears big hats well. Just like Queen Maxima of the Neatherlands.
By the way, haven't seen much of the Dutch Royal family.
They must have found a good hide-away for their summer holidays.

  5. I've always preferred Camilla in more moderately-sized hats -- for a while, gigantic ones almost became her trademark -- but while I may not care for the hat, the rest of her outfit is magnificent.

How I wish the lady in yellow had worn pretty shoes that enhanced the lovely look of her dress...apparently the klunky trainers fad hasn't yet run its course :-/ .

Agree Jane. Her outfit is lovely. With the hat, I think if the feather was about 1/2 the size it wouldn’t seem so out of proportion, especially for a commemoration. Also agree with others about Charles’ suit coat he is usually so impeccably tailored but either the fabric or something seems slightly off.

    2. deadeggs, I hope she get some motherly, or hair dresser advice, about her now much talked about messy hair while out of the spot light!

  7. I think it is important to celebrate these past events.
I don't like Camilla's hat, nor Boris Johnson's hair style. Ok for the rest of her outfit.

    1. MaryT, Boris Johnson's hair style has been like that since he was mayor of London. And it is so obvious, that he can't be bothered, of how he looks!

    2. Yes, sure Royalty fan! But since criticism is widely on board, I like to point it out.

    3. Come on MaryT. I'm sure you're mad about the Duchess's hat and Boris's crazy hair style but just a little too shy to admit it ...... no? :-))

    D. Camilla looks spectacular in this outfit. The coat is beautifully tailored, the hat is wonderfully extravagant, and her pearl necklace is the perfect finishing touch. (V.M.)

I like the detail on Camilla's coat;the hat is gorgeous .Prince Charles is certainly fulfilling the role Her Majesty set aside for him;he serves the nation well.Boris is a very clever man. Thankyou to all the men and women who fought for our freedom;and sadly those who lost their lives it was not in vain.
