Alex Fitzgibbons, who began a journey of 2,020 km of swimming, cycling, running and kayaking from London to Stockholm for the benefit of Child Bereavement UK, completed his journey yesterday. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel joined Alex Fitzgibbons in his last 5km of the 2020km Challenge. The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel ran the final 5km. Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar were present at the finish line at Haga Park.
The 2020 km journey that started in London thus finished on its 17th day at Haga Park. Child Bereavement UK helps children and young people up to age 25, and their parents and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. By this journey, Alex Fitzgibbons raised over £1,000,000 for the benefit of Child Bereavement UK.
Princess Estelle wore a sweatsuit from H&M x Gen-Pep collaboration. Gen- Pep is a non-profit organization founded by the Crown Princess Couple and aims to raise awareness of the public about sports and healthy nutrition for the purpose of protecting physical health of children and teenagers.
