On August 19, 2020, Queen Sonja of Norway attended the opening of 2020/21 season of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra at Oslo Concert Hall (Oslo Konserthus) in Oslo. The new chief conductor Klaus Mäkelä (24) conducted the full orchestra in front of 200 spectators. Klaus Mäkelä is a Finnish conductor and cellist.
