Crown Prince Frederik visited Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Princess Athena and Prince Henrik
In the previous days, Crown Prince Frederik visited Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and the couple's two children Princess Athena and Prince Henrik at the Chateau of Cayx in France. Crown Prince Frederik returned home from France yesterday.

Prince Joachim, who is 51, underwent surgery on a blood clot on his brain soon after admission on July 24, 2020. The prince remained in intensive care for several days. Prince Joachim was given the go ahead to return to his holiday residence, the Chateau of Cayx, on August 3, 2020, ten days after he was rushed in for treatment after falling ill. Medical teams looking after the Prince say they are confident he will not suffer any long-lasting consequences from the blood clot on his brain that required emergency surgery.

    Nice photo of the two. Joachim looks well but not fully recovered he kind of has that post surgery look. I hope he continues to recover fully, sending bedt wishes. Crown Prince Frederik is a very handsome man!

    Nice to see this act of caring between the brothers and to know that Joachim is recovering well. I like Fredriks shirt. Nice style, cool and relaxed.

    From Joann - Sending all my best wishes to the whole family during this scary time. Joaquim looks well. Even though I don't know the family - obviously - I still decided to place a card for him in my prayer bowl.

    Quel plaisir de voir les deux frères réunis dans le château de Cayx en France. Tous mes vœux afin que le prince Joachim continue à se rétablir ; le prince Frederik porte une chemise dans un tissu léger idéal pendant cette canicule ; sa barbe grisonnante lui va à merveille !

    Considering what the Prince has been through, I think he looks really good. Lovely to see him with his brother a visit will boost his spirits,. lovely to see.
