Very simple perfectly "appropriate" outfit for this visit. Maxima is as usual warm and engaged when interacting others.

The blouse is a classical beauty which even tolerates her hair.
Very disappointing when you see the trousers she combined it with.
( I personally think you shouldnot wear high heels under a culotte)

  3. This could have been a winner if the volume of both pieces had been balanced, together they look ballooned and baggy. I personally don't like stilettos with this culottes, wedges, or sandals are a better option.
What I have noticed is that Máxima seems to be wearing a lot less jewelry and over the top hats.

  4. Lovely blouse and nice shoes. If the trousers were full length it would be a real winner. I'd certainly take plain over the amazing, but not in a good way, floral trouser suit worn by the lady in some of the pictures.

    1. I would like to add Maxima get rid of Natan NOW. No self respecting other fashion house would let you out of the door of their establishment (or yours if the fitter comes to the palace) with such awful ill fitting culottes. Even if the blouse can past muster those culottes are a disgrace to man/womankind!

  7. Nice Blouse, not a fan of the baggy Culottes. Also, the stilettos I think do not complement them.

A good hair cut would do wonders for Queen Maxima in my humble opinion.

Agree with every detail. The hairstyl is just "Gone with the wind" but what would be a becoming hairstyle? I can not imagine her with a Hillary-Clinton-Hairstyle.

    2. Just finding a colourist that selects thin delicate strands of hair to colour and does not make those awful wide stripes of yellow blonde would be a start. Getting the ends blunt cut and not wispy cut might be a second. She could keep the same carefree windblown hairstyle it would just look much better. The way it is done now just makes it look greasy which it is not and the minute it is damp weather or the wind blows it is a mess.

  8. Joli chemisier classique mais il va bien à Maxima ; jupe-culotte un peu trop grande mais les superbes escarpins compensent le déséquilibre. Je rêve de voir ses cheveux avec un joli carré dégradé !

Blouse; nice Culottes; too baggy and short Shoes; not appropriate with pant choice
Hair; a mess as usual, shame on the queen for not taking care of her hair, when she has the means to do so.

Good to see I am not alone in not liking culottes. Though these aren’t too bad. Nice simple outfit and a lovely warm smile as usual. Unlikely to see much of her now until September

  11. When she does minimalistic, she looks good. Nice to see her dressed appropriately, not over the top. And dare I say, her hair is not bad today :)

  12. This is a beautiful blouse, soft and feminine. The neckline and sleeves are very flattering. I am not a fan of culottes, but this is personal preference only.

This is very unbalanced. She shouldn't have volume on the top and bottom. I like the classic colors, and restrained accessories. I think half the volume in her bottoms would improve the entire outfit.
