In the message, the duchess said: “There have been so many amazing entries to Hold Still over the last few weeks. From families up and down the country showing how they are adapting to life during lockdown, through to some of the most amazing NHS and social care staff who are putting their lives on the line to save the lives of others.

"But it isn’t too late to take part. So please take a moment to capture what life is like for you, because together I hope that we can build a lasting illustration of just how our country pulled together during the pandemic." I like that she used another corner of the house for the video shoot, the white wall background with the golden-framed door started to get boring...lol. Not that this is the most important thing, of course, but the visual impact is not to be ignored. I find this one of the few times when she appears completely relaxed and spontaneous, not so stiff and self-conscious as she normally is in her public appearances. It must help when you do the engagement from the comfort of your own home, one-to-one with your trusted laptop, going through as many takes as needed until you get it right, instead of facing crowds of people and photographers. Nice initiative, poignant photos.

yes we remember this dress, she also wore on George's first outing to the airfields.
I love these photography projects of hers, they give her a purpose beyond her role, she has been so supportive to the British people in this time
