Queen Rania of Jordan met with employees and women benefiting from Bilforon app on Sunday, and received information on how the digital platform enables home cooks to sell their meals online. Bilforon app was established in 2016. The objective of the app is to connect home cooks with customers across Jordan, including businesses that are looking for event caterers.

The Queen also received information on the app’s activities aiming to create job opportunities for home cooks, and the grocery delivery services it offered during the COVID-19 lockdown. Within 72 hours of announcement of the lockdown, Bilforon’s personnel transformed the platform into a grocery shopping and delivery application, which hosts 30 supermarkets and stores.

  1. Belle allure de Rania. J'aurais aimé mieux voir sa chemise avec le pantalon à taille haute ; le tout est très chic. Magnifiques chaussures Christian Dior mais je ne suis pas fan du petit sac !

  2. Why isn't she wearing a mask like everybody else?

i know. i find it disrespectful. also why does she not wear traditional clothes when she meets these women. She is so westernised and not in touch with her people, like they are so beneath her or something!

@Anonymous 8:05am You have to be new to this site, for if anyone wears a lot of ethnic inspired clothes out of all the Royals featured on this blog, it is Rania. At least 50% of her outfits are either made of ethnic fabric, or have a definite ethnic style or is something western or Arabic designed and created by a local designer. Any regular reader on this blog will confirm what I'm saying and you can see it too by searching for her name. She promotes her cultural dress very well. To say that she is out of touch with her people by the clothes she wears is a complete misnomer.

  4. What interesting pieces; for relatively basic pieces to have that extra flair that her style is known for. She looks beautiful and this sounds like a fantastic initiative.

  5. She looks great and she is always about her people and the country. Very supportive of projects that are done down at the grassroots where the people are.
