On June 4, 2020, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited La Baïne in Houtain-le-Val municpality of Genappe. La Baine is an organisation which is a youth aid service of the Federation-Wallonie-Bruxelles, assisting children and youngsters aged 3 to 18 years who come from difficult home situations. The organization offers guidance and shelter to young people and also aims to promote their personal growth and improve and restore their ties with their families.

During her visit, the Queen had a conversation with young people who are preparing for an autonomous life once they have reached the age of 18. The Queen then met with the younger children who are cared for within their living group. Queen Mathilde wore a floral print coat by Emporio Armani.

    I like the style lines of this outfit. The jacket is well made. The pattern perfectly lines up across the different seems but I don’t love the print. I thought the darker brown patches were turtles at quick glance. Mathilde’s hair looks good. It looks slightly longer than usual.
