  2. Ravissante Sofia avec cette robe imprimée aux fleurs estivales mais la ceinture Camel n'est pas très chic. En tissu, elle aurait plus d'allure. Elle a de très beaux cheveux mais je la préfère quand elle est dans sa couleur brune !

I agree with you about the belt. It is too heavy and out of place. A self belt in the same fabric would have been perfect.

She really flourishes in her role and that's how one delivers a graduation speech.

    1. The way she delivers the speech is cringeworthy for me. Looks forced, is unnaturally slow, awkwardly stressed pronounciation.
As for content, I think it´s fairly non-descript. There´s nothing wrong with her message, but she could have given more specifics and highlighted the qualifications, a bit more about them, a little less about her.

Yes!!! As a speech teacher/coach, I think she did a fabulous job. This is the way it should be done. Slow, deliberate, and easy for people to understand. I know some wish her to go faster, but this is the way to do it. You must speak for your audience and understand that many different people might be listening. As for the content of the speech, it could be that she was asked to speak about certain things. We don't know what the other speeches were like. She looks wonderful. And I do love her dress. The belt and neckline improve this dress so much!!!

@Anon 9:20 Thank you for your professional assessment. When I see a word like "cringeworthy" to describe Sophia's address, it leaves me wondering what I have missed. I see that my initial reaction was right on.

Feels so ‘fabricated’ and I cringed watching it. Maybe it’s lost in translation. But no spontaneity or genuine feel is coming across. It’s like she is reading the news. Reminds me of Kate’s early speeches. Equally awkward feeling, like she really wanted to make it work, but it was all a struggle. Maybe Sophia will get better at this over time, likened Kate eventually did. CH

  4. She looks nice and would look even nicer if her hair were shorter.

Princess Sofia has made this dress look 100% percent better than the style on the model. Do NOT like the neckline of the one the model is wearing and the fact that it has no belt. So happy she has a belt on. Well done, Sofia!!!

  11. She looks great. Like the dress and prefer the neckline that Sofia has to the one on the model. Undecided on the belt--probably depends on the overall length of the dress for me.
