The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge contacted with the Shire Hall Care Home in Cardiff and played bingo with the residents via video call. The video call took place on Wednesday as the residents of the care home played bingo in the home’s cinema. The Duke and Duchess took their turn as guest bingo callers for one of the games, and then talked to some of the residents and the staff of the care home.

Before the game, The Duke and Duchess received information from the staff about the impact of Covid-19 and the challenges that they have faced as a result of the pandemic. The staff also gave information about how the care home has adapted to the current circumstances, such as using technology more to allow residents of the care home to stay in touch with their families and friends.

Ils ont l'air ravis. La robe en soie est bien jolie mais je trouve que la photo n'avantage pas du tout Kate ; les boucles d'oreilles Zoraida sont vraiment à son goût !

This was so cute! Well done use of video connection too. She looked great in this dress the first time at the polo match herding her kiddos and especially chasing little Louis around. Wonderful color and earrings.

The warm words and concerns of Prince William and Catherine must have healed the heart of patients and health care workers at the Shire Hall Care Home in Cardiff, I think.

So many nice things to say about this video clip: the fun that William and Catherine are having, the engagement of the seniors, everyone playing Bingo and W&C knowing the terminology (lol), lots of smiles on both sides of the call, and a very pretty dress. I agree with Ava Pittman that it must feel lovely to wear.

They are doing a good job, no question, but Prince Harry is missing.

No, he isn't missing. He's in Los Angeles with his wife and son.

Not quite sure what that has to with William and Catherine carrying out their duties here.

In my country everybody is allowed to have his own opinion and if not it would not be my country. There is only one thing which is greater than free speech - freedom - and this is god.

  8. They looked like they were genuinely enjoying themselves here. This is a lovely pink dress--much more modern looking than the one with the white collar she wore the other day. Looking forward to seeing them out and about again soon. Bet they'll be sorry to go back to London when the schools go back next week.
