King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the presentation of COTEC Foundation's Annual Report, COTEC 2020 Report, and also a round table meeting on "innovation for economic recovery".
During the presentation, it was explained that the current pandemic and its effects make it even more evident that science and innovation are fundamental for fighting against global crises and great social challenges.
The Cotec Foundation for Innovation is a private, non-profit organization, based in Madrid, Spain and it focuses on promoting social and economic growth through innovation. Since 1990, the Cotec Foundation has been working to sensitize society about the value of scientific and technological knowledge and research.
